Brain Trainer by is a brain training app for iPhone, designed to help you enhance your cognitive abilities.

There are eight different games included in Brain Trainer by Each is designed to test a different mental ability, including memory, processing speeds, attention and problem solving.

Brain Trainer by is designed as a 35 session course, and it's recommended that you play one session a day in order to build up your cognitive power. Each session consists of three different games, which could be anything from matching the names of words to the color of words to remembering a sequence of shapes. The app gives you the first five sessions for free, after which you need to pay a subscription (unless you're already a member of

The games in Brain Trainer by are enjoyable and challenging, and they're designed in such a way that you notice yourself improving with every game. The trouble is, that the number of games available to you in this free version of Brain Trainer by is very limited. Of the eight types of game, only one is completely unrestricted to play any time, so once your five-session trial is up there's not much life left in the game, unless you're prepared to go premium.

Like all good brain training apps, Brain Trainer by keeps a record of your performances in each discipline. Unfortunately, the stats aren't as detailed as many other brain training games. For instance, you can't view charts of your performance over time, and there are no records of individual games. Brain Trainer by doesn't give you a projection of your real brain age, either.

Brain Trainer by could be a good way of bolstering your brain power. Unfortunately though, the free taster is a bit too limited.
